1. The night before he died on the cross, Jesus prayed, “Father, the hour has come, glorify your Son” (John 17:1). Why is the cross of Christ so surprisingly glorious?

2. Jesus is alive right now. And to have eternal life is to know and enjoy the risen Christ. Are you currently enjoying eternal life? What is keeping you from deeper communion with Jesus?
